Development and Peacebuilding
Development assistance to fragile states is critical to international peace and security. Here, we consolidate good practices to engage in fragile states and share useful tools for practitioners navigating this complex field. Join us as we explore the intersection of development and peace.
Maintaining the Space
We aim to connect with organizations, researchers, and students interested in ensuring development programmes are separate from political agendas. We believe the absorption of development agencies into departments of foreign affairs redirects aid from the poorest of the poor to the strategic and commercial interests of the donors. Our focus is on maintaining the integrity of aid and ensuring it reaches those who need it most.
We are proud to share insights from key projects, including "The Road to Peace: Niger Delta Conflict Analysis and Management Workshop" hosted by the Niger Delta Development Commission and sponsored by the World Bank. This project exemplifies our commitment to fostering peace through effective conflict management strategies.
